Stamperia Carcano Spa in Italy converted the families mechanical workshop to a hot steel moulding plant in the 1950`s,thus opening the path to new markets.
At the end of the 1990`s Stamperia Carcano was one of the leading european competitors in the industry.
The products were popular due to their high quality,resistance and duration and used in industries such as Heavy Industry,Transport, Energy, Petrochemical, Construction & Handling Systems.

In March 2007 the new CARTEC brand was created,which asserted itself as an identified and distinctive brand in the following years
